This webinar will provide an overview of the different automation platforms for Next Generation Sequencing workflows. Considerations, benefits and challenges of incorporating automation into laboratory workflows will be discussed. Attendees will hear from experts from a CDC expert and perspectives from two different public health laboratories about how automation can enhance laboratory workflows and options.

At the conclusion of the program, the participant will be able to:

Describe the pros and cons around implementation of automation
Discuss how automation can be utilized and adapted in public health laboratories based on their needs
